FMOC, LTD affiliates closes the quarter with its' first acquisition of 2017 in Boaz, Alabama. Corona Center is a 100% leased 13,500 sf Walmart Supercenter shadow center located 77 miles from Birmingham and 57 miles from Huntsville.
Corsicana Marketplace has been added to the portfolio. Corsicana, Texas is the county seat of Navarro County, and is located on the Interstate 45 corridor about 50 miles southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This is a fully leased Walmart shadow-anchored strip center. Corsicana will add an additional 25,198 square feet to the FMOC portfolio.
We have added three additional properties to the portfolio one each in Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. The first property to be added is The Shops at Waverly located in Waverly, TN. We will be adding to our portfolio in Q4. We currently have five properties in negotiations. Three locations in Tennessee and one each in Mississippi and Alabama.
Painting should be scheduled before the end of 2016 for the building.
We are in the process of getting bids to paint the shopping center. Painting should be scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2016.
Gulfport Plaza will be getting in a new roof in 2016.
The shopping center in Jasper is getting fresh paint in September.
